*Why do event organisers remind stallholders to have public liability insurance?
If you are setting up a stand at any event where members of the public will attend, you should really protect yourself with public liability insurance. This ensures any visitor who is harmed or injured by anything connected with you setting up your stand, running your stand, equipment or items on or around your stand etc are able to claim against your insurance rather than from you, personally.
