Carnival 2012
Floats & Fancy Dress
Wells Carnival Procession is, as always, open to all! We’d be delighted if you’d like to join in and it would be wonderful to see some new faces taking part. If you would like some help with your costume or would like to take part but you’re fresh out of ideas for something to wear, why not come to our Carnival Costume Workshop during Carnival week.
To enter the Parade powered vehicles should be on The Buttlands by 2pm and go immediately to the Committee tent in the Arena to register for judging. Entries for classes 1 – 6, please be ready to be called into the main arena from 2pm. Each class will be asked to parade in the arena where they will be judged and prizes awarded.
You will then be asked to leave the arena so we can continue judging other classes. (Parents may wish to accompany children in the arena).
Please contact us if you have any queries or would like to enter a particularly large float or group of people.
